Villa Maria has a safe school policy to ensure every student thrives in a sound school environment that fosters diversity, fairness and inclusion. This policy is supported by a process for dealing with complaints related to bullying and violence.

Explanation of the steps involved in the bullying or violence reporting process.

Filing a complaint

This form must be completed by the plaintiff or a parent/guardian. It will not be considered until the plaintiff has reported the incident to the school administration.

Incident report

Submitted to the Director of Educational Services following a bullying or violence complaint.

Summary incident report

For the Executive Director’s consideration following a bullying or violence complaint. The Director of Educational Services forwards a summary of each bullying or violence complaint to the Director General outlining the events and any actions taken.
