School Events

An important part of Villa Maria’s mission is to help our students thrive and have fun.

School events create excitement and bring people together. They highlight how much we value our students and their achievements, while encouraging them to excel by getting involved in projects.

At school events, students get together with their friends to showcase their talents.

Summer Carnival

The Villa Maria Summer Carnival was back in June 2023!

Our students were invited to a festive and colorful carnival to recognize their efforts and achievements throughout the year. It was also an opportunity to celebrate the end of the school year and the beginning of summer. On the program, foodtrucks and all kinds of games to have fun with friends!

Graduation Ceremonies

On June the graduation ceremonies for our Secondary 5 students in the French and English sectors took place.

There was a lot of excitement in the air. Our graduating class is one of the most special cohorts ever! Congratulations on all your accomplishments! We will treasure great memories of you. Don’t forget to come and visit us from time to time.

Award Ceremony

"The only person to surpass is the surpassing of oneself". We celebrated the accomplishments of our students at the 2022 Award Ceremony.

For each of the groups, students who went above and beyond in academic achievement, school perseverance and radiant personality were celebrated. There were many winners; these photos are just a sampling of the immense talent of Villa Maria students. Congratulations to all the winners!

Mental Health Week

When we or our loved ones are going through difficult times, we need to be there for each other in a caring way. In May, we celebrated Mental Health Week at Villa Maria.

To educate students on the importance of caring for their well-being and to give them tools to maintain their serenity, we held a variety of activities throughout the week. These included mental health self-management activities, art and animal therapy, physical exercises, a library book selection, and a mental health fair. Let’s remember to be a constant listener and put ourselves in the shoes of others. Let’s cultivate empathy all year long!

Several other school events take place throughout the year!
