Mothers and Fathers’ Guild Parent Association
english sector
The Villa Maria Mothers and Fathers’ Guild has been in existence for over 30 years. We are a volunteer-parent organization composed of an executive board (holding specific portfolios and serving a 2-year term) and a group of volunteer members who can help with Guild events and school activities. Throughout the year, we hold monthly meetings open to all parents.
Our objectives
- Promote a community spirit among students, parents, teachers and the administration.
- Organize events that bring students together for fun, sharing and fundraising activities throughout the year.
- Distribute awards, bursaries and scholarships to top-ranking and most improved students.
- Help purchase items on the teachers’ wish list and help finance field trips, workshops and events.

How we are financed
We are financed by a voluntary membership fee of $25 per family.
Events and involvement
Every year, the Villa Maria Mothers & Fathers’ Guild holds events bringing together parents and students for fun, sharing and fundraising activities. Several of these events require the participation of volunteer parents. While some of these events are fundraisers, all activities help develop and maintain experiences that are enriching for our key benefactors: students, parents, teachers and the community at large.

Volunteers help with various tasks. Volunteers sort and display donated books and uniforms on specific tables, help with the sale, and take an inventory of unsold books and uniforms.
