While the five years of high school represent the requisite passage from adolescence to adulthood and involve many challenges, they are also a precious and exciting time in the students’ social and psychological development. As members of the school team, we are privileged to accompany them through this remarkable period in their lives. Complementing the academic training, our Academic Support Services have a single objective: to make an active and positive contribution to the students’ development.
Like our educators, the non-teaching staff takes the success of our students to heart, not only academically but socially as well. Whether through their involvement in student life, extracurricular activities, trips, Academics+ activities or sports, our students are encouraged to live their school experience, playing an active part in their own development and growth. They are accompanied and guided by our committed and dynamic Academic Support Services team: the multimedia centre, school organization office, lab technicians, supervisory team, activity and student life facilitators and sports technician. All go above and beyond to offer our students the quality services that make our school an inspiring and dynamic environment.
Today’s students learn differently than previous generations, and the competencies required in the working world are also changing over time. The school must adapt to this transformation and prepare students for new realities. Whether it relates to the quality of teaching or support services, at Villa Maria, we share the same objective: to focus on our students’ needs.

Activities
Extracurricular and athletic activities, travel, subject-specific field trips and school events are important aspects of student life at Villa Maria.
Cafeteria
Meal service is available from 7 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. From 7 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., students can also go to the cafeteria to read, study or meet with their friends.
