Health and Prevention
Villa Maria’s Family Life Education Program was built to guide students as they develop positive and informed behaviour choices. Students are encouraged to make appropriate decisions based on knowledge and introspection about their core values. The program also helps students improve their interpersonal and communication skills.
The Villa Maria Family Life Education Program has been a part of our school for 18 years. Every grade level receives six age-appropriate classes per year. Each session respects the values, beliefs, and maturity level of the students.
The Family Life Education Program also includes a drop-in center, which students can visit during lunch time, or by appointment, for access to information, pamphlets and community resources.
